Tifosi Vogel Sunglasses
with High Speed Red Fototech Lenses

I love the fact that the lenses are large and frameless which really expands your field of vision especially when looking over your shoulder to check on traffic. The High Speed Red Fototech lenses adjust from light to dark so quickly I don't even notice. What I do notice is the road conditions even in foggy, sunny, or shady situations. These great sunglasses are well priced too; starting at around $59.95. My only suggestion would be to make the nose piece clear which would really enhance the look.

Rudy Project Zuma Helmet

Lightweight, very comfortable, and sexy. Well, as sexy as a helmet can get.The Zuma has 26 vents and custom padding to keep you cool and comfortable. In fact, I don't always remove it when taking a break to enjoy a spicy chai. With the RSR 6 disc, I can easily adjust the fit of my helmet which is nice because I have lots of hair but a small head. Hey, I am only 5' after all. This helmet isn't cheap ($149.99) but it is worth it. There are some things I don't skimp on one is protecting my brain and the other is my butt. Please see previous review on the Sheebest Century Elite Short.
Check out http://www.e-rudy.com. They have sales on their helmets often.

Sheebest Century Elite Short

I have tried multiple brands of riding shorts over the years. Assos has been my favorite up until now. The Sheebest Century Elite's chamois provides extra cushioning for the sit bones without over-compressing my girly parts. I also really like the fact that I don't get that wet diaper feeling even after a long ride. The fabric on these shorts contains carbon fibers which keep your temperature cool and provides compression to help prevent muscle fatigue. Apparently, my bike isn't the only thing made out of carbon now. Even though I work hard to maintain my "6 juice pack abs", I find the higher rise more comfortable than a low rise short. One thing I don't like about these shorts is the tie at the waist. Does anybody really need to tie their shorts to keep them up? Isn't that what all that spandex is for? The only thing that remains to be seen is whether these shorts will hold up as well as my Assos.

Sprintech Bar-End Mirrors

I have the big daddy of mirrors on our Co-motion tandem but for my my super cool Specialized Ruby S-Works, only this mirror will do. The Sprintech Bar-End Mirror is one streamlined piece of bling bling. But it doesn't just look good, it actually provides a great view of the road behind you. I tried one of those little mirrors on my helmet, wore it once. The rear view vision on it was so limited all it did was let me know when a vehicle was right on my rear! How helpful is that?
You can find these mirrors at www.westernbikeworks.com. The mirrors are on sale for $24.99 and you get free shipping when your spend $75.00 or more.

1up USA Bicycle Trainer

This is the only trainer made entirely in the U.S.A. It also has been voted the best trainer by Mountain Bike Review and Road Bike Review 8 years in a row! Centrifugal Pressure Resistance (CPR) provides the most realistic simulation of riding a bicycle. The tension smoothly transitions between sprinting, climbing, and simply spinning. The 1up Bicycle Trainer is extremely quiet which makes watching a movie more enjoyable. Hey, I'm riding a bike and going nowhere, I need a distraction. The low profile also means I do not need to prop the front wheel on a stand and the foot operated Quick-Release allows you to load your bicycle in only 3 seconds! When not is use, it folds up to only 6 inches thick.
Check out 1up USA for all the details of this incredible trainer. The 1up Bicycle Trainer sells for $299.00 and includes free shipping. As if this trainer wasn't awesome enough, it is also guaranteed for life! I had owned my trainer for a year when it seemed to start randomly dragging. They responded to my issue right away and sent me a new and improved part immediately. Excellent customer service!
